The kids can skip school without you knowing?! WTF! See, that's why I could never play TS3. That would annoy the crap out of me (I'm not much of a fan of children to start with so having head-strong FAKE children acting bratty would make me RAGE!).
I guess you get what you (don't) pay for when you adopt in TS3 (that not having to pay for the kids slays me, too--can you have all three brought at once or are you limited to one a day like TS2? Did I ask that before? Am I getting old and forgetful? Where am I? Who are you? I'm hungry! GRIDLOCK!)
*smirks* I love that Blondie's wife (say that with a Cotton Hill voice, *snerk*) doesn't like kids. I so want to see what that produces in game *longs for Frosti Frost*
Old fart Zan reminds me of Ozzy Osbourn. I'm not sure why.
I know! I had no idea the kids could skip school. I assumed they'd gotten glitched or something, but nope, playing on the jungle gym. I was pretty pissed. I'm not that fond of children and finding out that they were doing that I just kicked them right out.
You can have adopted kids brought back to back, but not all at the same time. So in the same afternoon I got all three of the bundles. I guess I did get what I paid for freeloaders who don't care if they get sent off somewhere else. <.<
Kara and her dislike of children is amusing. I haven't managed to catch it but sometimes if one of them wakes her up or everyone else is busy and she has to take care of them she'll have these mean thought bubbles or make disgusted motions.
Loving that dramatic opening to this second part and enjoyed your foray into story mode :)
I don't know if the social worker takes all the kids or not either. I do know that the adoption pool does not work the same way as the TS2 one as I tried it out in a test game. Poor Uncle Frosti though :D
Broad grins here as I continue to be amused at how strong-willed Blondie is and to breathe a sigh that I also am not the only 'proud possessor' of a sim whose morals I don't totally condone.
Wow, I didn't know there was an option to ask that! (that being 'break up with husband'). Oooh. But also, it's kind of sweet it must have been true love for Blondie (just like his mum and dad).
Hopes the next update will be soon, want to find out what happens next!
Uncle Frosti is determined to date only the elderly so this is letting hi vicariously have children. I'm sure he loves it! <.<
I didn't want to chance the social taking all the kids so they were sent off. I would have no idea how to get them back. Blondie's moral code is 'interesting' and no, I don't condone it. I did get a bit of an 'aww he must really love you to risk so much for you' moment though. I don't always agree with it, but sometimes you love who you love and any obstacles in your way be damned.
Plus being evil, I think he loved pursuing a married woman. It's right up his evil alley. I had no idea sims could ask their partners to break up either! As soon as I saw it I went right for it though, for the good of learning how to play the game of course!
I saw that with my practice getting to know the game family, she wasn't marry yet but she was engaged. He ask the pop appear and all the sudden he had a new enemy XD. Her new bride was and adult with only four traits and not five so i lear sims don't always get full personalities.
I note in story progression that Marci dated Grumpy and then went for Troy, Kara's ex. Could it have been Troy making her leave Grumpy? By the way, do you get popups of all those Progression things? Which mod are you using again?
Since I have become an evil SimGodess and don't believe in people's goodness, I love the "Ask to break up" option in S3 >:)
I don't know if Tory stole away Grumpus' girlfriend, but that would be interesting. The Story Progression I use gives me pop ups in the upper right, where the game tells me things like 'you've taken a screenshot!' I use Twallan's SP.
I kind of love that option too for Sims 3. Breaking up in Sims 2 if you don't have mods to make it easier is brutal!
I was reading the next and new i was missing something. I read i start wondering why i did not rember Kara, and voila i had skip an update :P
I had a dislike children baby daddy once, she kept rolling to tell him about the pregnancy so i let her, obviously it was nevegative interaction, and apologies kept showing uop in her pie menu for days, needless to say i never recover that relationship.
That's just weird. How odd the guy would reject her that thoroughly! I get not liking children, but not liking them enough to make your pregnant girlfriend apologize? Hardcore EA, hardcore.
I've been updating a lot. I couldn't stop playing. I'm not surprised you missed an update. Sorry about that.
