A Night at the Movies - 1958

Nov 25, 2003 22:12

Good evening all...

I felt it necessary to inform all of you that Auntie Mame is the best movie ever made. Rosalind Russel is the most divine and gracious individual to ever appear in motion picture. This leading lady of Hollywood is right up there with Joan Crawford and Anne Baxter.

Patrick Dennis's tale, Auntie Mame, is a timeless classic depicting the special bond between a young boy and his beloved, eccentric aunt.

Even more exciting, is the upcoming remake of the musical version, Mame, which featured stunning performances by Lucille Ball and Bea Arthur back back in 1974. The 2004 made for TV musical has billed none other than CHER for the part of Mame!!! Couldn't you just die!

Alright everyone....I'll be getting back to my movie. All of you must see this wonderful 1958 classic. "Its devastating, simply devastating." Goodnight all.

Yours,
John
