Wrote 455 words on my historiographic metafiction paper! W00t!
So I've been getting into Witchblade. Nothing new there because I was familiar with the series when I was doing A'levels. I didn't know that it was actually based on a comic book series :D. I even tried watching the Witchblade anime but seriously, the heroine's costume just turned me off permanently. Why do the outfits of superheroines have to be so revealing? That's like sending a message that a woman's only asset is her body. At least the live action series starring Yancy Butler doesn't have her dressed as a skank every time the witchblade activates. But I still don't like Yancy Butler. She has a hard face and her voice is just...thick and rough.
Speaking of comic books, my grad supervisor has started reading the scanlations of Fullmetal Alchemist. Is he awesome or what? :D
