Busy weekend
This weekend was busy. to say the least. I did a premrie of the movie on friday with some youths in the south flordia area before the actual premire and after lunch with torie. Followed by a launch party of The Rock foundation in Miami in which Dany was able to join me once her mom sat with Simone who was sick. so even though I was alone for most of Friday I got a little time with Dany before she had to rush back to Simone.
The Goal The hopes of The Rock Foundation is to empower the lives and self-esteem of young people, helping them fulfill their dreams.
After Lunch on Saturday dany and I discussed moving back to Miami, so it looks like that's what we're doing.
Thankfully we decided to keep our home in Miami and let dany's brother, Hiram Garcia stay there as long as he needed and well he's decided it's time to move on. We'll probably keep the home in FL.
Oddly my father has been hinting he wants to move to Fort Lauderdale Area so who knows maybe we'll let him keep this place. The only bad part is for simone who's made friends already in her current school, but she's a wonderful little girl and I know she'll not only adjust but make new friends just as quick and easy.
I just don't wanna be like my folks and move every so often so I told dany we're only moving if she's absoultly positive. So it looks like were moving the first weekend of October.
Saturday we also did some groceries than took the car in for manintance and I managed to sneak sometime in at the gym.
Saturday night we had movie night with simone. I swear if I gotta watch Bambi one more time I'm gonna scream. It's simone's favorite movie. Of all Disney movies,why that one?
we went to church this morning. Dany insists that simone be exposed to the teachings of Christ. We were both raised in good Christian homes (inspite of my father's gambling etc..)but my family was just non active in church.
After church we had lunch and than we kicked the ball around with Simone.
sunday is finally winding down and Simone is helping Dany in the kitchen before dinner.
Hope to call it an early night and have simone in bed by 7 so Dany and I can curl up on the couch and watch Monster In Law.
