Last night's premrie went smooth, answered a few questions from the press. everyone seemed to enjoy the movie.
I wish I could say the same for Southland tales. It's bullshit da lack of respct people give Richard kelly. I mean who in da blue hell gave some jabroni who calls himself a film critic the right to be disrespectful to Richard Kelly.I think he's a gifted director and it was an honor to work with him. I've heard first hand critcs say to him "You're too young a director, and you have the audacity to make a two hour and fifty minute movie that says something, and you expect me to sit through it' then of course.".this was all during the cannes film festival, they can be so Brutal. I mean for me as an actor it wasnt too bad. We showed the movie and still had to stay an extra three days after to do press. For me, they were like 'WOW, good job with your character, tell us a little about your character'. They didn't really lay into me. But with Richard, he got the worst of it."
As a tribute sort of speak to the place Dany and I met we have donated some money to the university of Miami for a livingroom type setting. We're hoping that the Dany and "The Rock" Johnson living room will bring someone the kind of happiness we found.
