It seems that while taking a break from waterboarding, er , bathing, er, nicely questioning the suspects, the interrogation team leader lifted a needlepoint cushion from a wooden chair and discovered where said eyeglasses had been cunningly concealed...
P.S. (after extracting tongue from cheek) This results in a savings of approximately $300. Given the present dearth of per diem work shifts, a good thing.
