1. What would your favourite job be?
My ideal job? Argh! I guess ideally I'd love to be a book editor. I'd get to read lots and lots of books and give tips on what worked and what didn't and get paid lots of money for it. (It's my dream job remember... I can make it up if I want)
2. Do you enjoy teaching Belly dancing ? What teaching methods do you use to get the points across?
I kinda enjoy teaching bellydancing. I love managing to explain a move to someone who begins completely baffled by it but eventually finds it simple. i enjoy that. As for the having to come up with new stuff to teach to a class every week. No i don't enjoy that. I think it's the rebel in me. I hate being tied to something. Or maybe I'm just so stressed out atm, that i feel I'm not doing a good enough job at teaching and so i'm not enjoying it. What teaching methods? I firmly believe in drilling in the basics each week to improve the students confidence in the moves and to develop their speed. And I believe in trying to break everything down into the most basic of moves and then slowly putting them all together. But most importnantly, remain approachable.
3. What is / has been the best day in your life to date?
I guess I'd have to say my 28th Birthday sticks in my mind. I got a day of pampering with my mother, including a rather bizarre facial massage. And then got taken out by my fella and treated like an absolute princess. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better evening. Apart from the Lobster bisque being far too fishy for me to even contemplate eating.
4. What/who influenced you into the gothic/pagan ways ?
I've always been interested in gothic/pagan ways. As a small child i was always obsessed with the morbid and ghosts. I must have watched too many horror films while my elder brother was meant to be baby sitting us. My Nain always took us for walks around the graveyard. It just seemed a natural thing. I guess the whole pagan thing. I'd have to give credit to my mate Ivan. He was the guy who made me realise that it was acceptable to admit to being interested in 'witchcraft' up until that point I thought all wiccans where weirdoes who should be frowned upon. Ivan made me realise that it was all related and it just all seemed to kinda make sense.
5.Why are you under the impression my girlfriend is "Mardy", who doesn't like other people talking to me ?
Well, I have to admit that mardy is not a word I would use. And when asked this question I'd never even met your girlfriend. So I don't actually think she is mardy. Having not even met a person would make it impossible for me to pass judgement on that said person. So you tell me why you think I have the impression that your girlfriend is mardy?
Here's how to get me to interview you:
First leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" or similar.
Secondly I will respond by asking you five questions of a varyingly intimate and/or creepily personal nature.
Then you WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
Next you will include this (or similar) explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
Finally, when others comment asking to be interviewed, you too will ask them five questions.
