I am not a big fan of February. I say it every year. I mean, I'm not a big fan of winter in general, but February seems the worst to me. It's right in the middle of winter, and it snows alot, and there's Valentine's Day. I think that's the root of the problem. It just seems so unnecessary to me. If you're single, it only makes you more depressed that you have no one special to share your life with. If you're in a relationship, it just puts alot of pressure on it to do something amazing. But if you're in a relationship, and you love the person, why can't you just show it all the time instead of one special day? I mean, don't relationship people have enough oppurtunities to be all cute and love-y and shit? The only way I think it's ok to be sappy on Valentine's Day is when you kinda like someone and you wanna let them know, so you do something special to make them feel special. Not that that has ever happened to me. But anyway, I pretty much loathe the entire concept, and it makes me sick that Davison is like all decked out with hearts and shit. I just might boycott until they're gone, or write a letter or something.
The moral of the story is let's get drunk on tuesday night. This invitation is open to anyone who is NOT going to be all lovey dovey and PDA with their significant other, because I'm miserable and I don't want to see that. Or if someone wants to, say, wine and dine me....that'd be cool. Actually, anyone who wants to do that anytime, I'm down. Anyway, this isn't a personal ad. I'm pathetic.
