Birthdays and Earthquakes.

Wicked! I experienced my first earthquake on my birthday. It happened about 7 minutes ago. I heard two bangs and then the building shook. At first I thought it was the wind - thus proving I am a natural blond. Then I thought 'Oh, I'm in Japan. It's probably an earthquake.' The worst had to have been when they put the live fish in the boiling oil and Ooo'ed and Ahhhed when it thrashed around.

Happily I missed that part. They genuinely don't seem to get the fact that they are effectively torturing a living thing. And don't get me started on Japan's whaling industry.

Yeah I felt the second one too! It wasn't as stong as the first but still cool. It's like the earth is singing Happy Birthday to me :o)
