Well, here's one author to avoid.
I understand not liking the idea of fanfiction. I understand writing about how you don't like fanfiction.
I understand, but am heartily unappreciative of, someone being a prick while expressing those opinions.
Various commenters, fanfiction isn't "practice writing." Not for the vast majority of fans.
Diana Gabaldon, writing fanfiction isn't the same as stalking your daughter, breaking into your house, or physically damaging your property.
And pornography in fanfiction is no more immoral than the sex scenes in your own literature. Seeing you take the moral high ground on that issue is hilarious, lemme tell you.
