Update, I guess

So, first off, thank you to all of you that made it to my house on the 10th. I appreciate that you stopped by, and it was very lovely to see you all after such a long time (well, some of you, anyway). Sorry I was too busy huffing in the kitchen to hang out.... by the end of the night I was drunk and tired and starving to death. I probably should have done more "in advance" food prep, but alas, there she was.

I hope you all enjoyed yourself, even just a little bit.

Sorry you didn't make it over, Shelby. My phone was (and still is) cut off, so it was out of service. I should have sent you an e-mail I guess, but I did put a note on my LJ about it, with another number to call me at, so I figured you would have seen it there. Anyway, we should get together sometime soon for tea or supper or something, if you have time. I'm off for the rest of this week, so if you have time sometime in the evening, let me know (e-mail me, if you like, I'll be checking it while I'm off).

The Ray LaMontagne concert was fucking amazing. He has so much raw talent, and such a huge voice. It's amazing that he's so shy. Good sense of humour though, very cool. And his opening act was really impressive. David Ford. Keep an eye out for him.

So I have a few questions:

1. M, are you free sometime this week to get together? The weekend counts too. I'm back at work Monday so I'd like to see you and Neil while I still have a chance to. *chuckles*

2. Em, If you have time this weekend, or maybe a night after work this week, do you want to get together and do... something? I don't know what, but it would be nice to see you.

3. Becky, do you want to go to Stella's this week/weekend sometime? That's the Belgian beer bar I was telling you about, with the nifty tapas.

4. Terry, how was Sunday night? You going to join us at Steve's maybe Thursday night, eh? Yes? Eh? YES? EH?!?!?!?!?!?!? (bring Shayne too, maybe)

As for anyone else, well, you could always e-mail me if you want to hang out or something, whatever. I can be e-mailed or what have you.

I'll let you all know when I have a phone again.

NaNo is not going well at all... I haven't really written anything and I don't care about it. Does that mean something? Who knows. I almost cut off a chunk of my finger with my new mandoline (that MF is goddamn sharp, it is, and the "safety guide" is a crock, it doesn't work), but now I know it cuts really lovely though, which is nice.

I'm bored, here, bored in boring New West.
Blah.
I wish I could afford to take up a hobby.

Okay, that's enough out of me, the weather's depressing me, so I need to download some new music. G'bye kids.
