awesome highlights
I bought new workout pants today. Yes, this is the highlight of my day. But I'm really excited about them because a) they don't make my ass look huge (even though they're the skin tight ones...they're capris so it balances), b) they were $15, and c) my current workout shorts are getting holey and it's hard to find new ones.
Yep, exciting life I lead.
Oh oh, I bought new Steve Madden boots this weekend (Cara inspired me to be as naughty as she was). They were $30 down from $110...ah, end of season sales. They should be nice and practical for doing things like walking in the snow next year. AND looking fabulous, of course. You can see them here. I got the tan ones.
I also got free lunch today (subway)...which I bought for the whole lab. It was for lab meeting and I'm getting reimbursed, so it's technically free. Still, the hassle of turning in the receipt, waiting for the money...so tiring. I know I'm a whiner.
In other news, I think my right ACL is kind of achey but I can't tell. I've never had knee pain since I've been a swimmer my whole life . Also, my left hip flexor. I know where that one is. I should probably stop doing lunges. Suggestions?
I'm getting free Chipotle tomorrow for lunch and also more free lunch Wed as well as free dinner. Iloveit.
That's all, grad school is going pretty well as far as I can tell right now. Colorado is awesome, as usual. Carry on.
PS - Ryan and I had our 4th anniversary last friday and neither of us remembered. Hahaha. But seriously, isn't that crazy? Four years.
