Valentine's Day
So even though I do have a significant other I've never really been super excited about Valentine's Day. Nothing personal to St. Valentine or whatever, or even to those who do like it...I just find little meaning in having a day where many people feel alienated while those who are already paired up go have romantic dinners and eat chocolate together and celebrate their love. Not that I'm opposed to going out to dinner and eating chocolate, I just think people should spontaneously do this to celebrate love instead of having a commercialized day set aside for it. Stop wasting money on stupid heart trinkets and flowers that will die in two days. Though I do like flowers.
In conclusion, I'm most likely a hippocrite but I still think Valentine's Day is dumb.
