Some Stuff
First off, the Mega Millions numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47, 42. Eerily close to 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. Anyone who played Lost numbers won $150. Two people finally won, if I heard correctly. But the tickets were sold in Idaho and Washington, so now I don't feel bad that we kept forgetting to buy a ticket. Too bad, $355 million would've been nice!
I must complain about the ridiculousness of this Caillou book that Ben has. It's about Caillou and his friend playing, and they each keep saying that the toys are theirs and not sharing well. They're fighting over Caillou's ball, and Caillou's mom comes in and says, "The ball belongs to Caillou, so it's up to him to decide if he wants to share it." Um, what? That's not how it works. What the heck, book? So I changed the words to, "Caillou was playing with it first, so you'll have to wait your turn."
Then I read the description on the back of the book, and it says, "It's Mine! demonstrates that children can learn to share if they are assured they have the right to say no and if that right is respected." ... O_o Seriously? They be smoking something in Québec, apparently. (That's where Caillou is from, btw.)
OH. We watched Highlander last night. It's on the [Sean Connery movies] list, you know. (Second) Worst. Movie. Ever. I can't even begin to describe the hoakiness. The bad effects aren't its fault, it was made in 1986. But it was just. Oh em gee. It's right up there under Zardoz, now. And then I look on IMDb and find out that the big creepy guy who plays the bad guy in the movie also plays the voice of Mr. Krabs on Spongebob. HA!
On the other hand, I also watched The Offence a while ago and it was pretty okay. At first I didn't get what the heck was going on with all the psychological stuff, but then I read someone's synopsis on IMDb and was like... ohhhhhh. The one thing I did notice was that it was the character Sean Connery plays is unlike other characters I've seen him do. It was much more emotional, and he was good at it.
He was not good at Highlander, nor was anyone else. :X
