GENERATION 5!!!!
If you are on tumblr you probably already saw these pictures. But in case some of you didn't see them, as of yesterday night I have the very first member of generation 5 in my Penguino hood (and an additional announcement today)!
Introducing Dublin, daughter of Memphis and Carla, and the first member of Generation 5!
(Popper + Dagmar = Captain Cook + Cara = Jenny + Dorian = Memphis + Carla = Dublin)
She has dark blue eyes which come from Dorian, Memphis' father, and her red hair actually comes from both Carla and Cara by way of Jenny.
Memphis is excited both to finally meet Dublin and because her birth gave him enough lifetime aspiration points to make him permaplat without achieving his lifetime want.

Memphis is going to be awesome at being a Dad. Even if he is afraid of changing dirty diapers. (Ha! But you went permaplat so I am not longer concerned about your fears, Memphis!)
The nursery has the new penguin themed bedding by shastakiss over on tumblr and the scrabble tiles do say "Fly" as a nod to Captain. :)

So I was stupid excited about Dublin's arrival in part because it has been almost 7 years exactly since the first member of gen 4, Robert, was born in my game on Nov. 2, 2007. I was kind of floored when I looked that up. I need to up my game or this legacy will never get finished!
Then today I opened the game to play Memphis' house through to the end of the rotation and Dublin was only about 3.5 sim hours old when this happened:
Yep. Natural twins on the way. To be fair, I have them set for an ideal family size of 3. I guess Carla decided that twice was enough! Can't wait to see if either of these two will get Memphis' green eyes!
