CreMo 2014: Final Stats
Well I have to finally admit that I won't be officially winning CreMo this year but that is okay because I still made a TON of forward progress. As a review my goals for the month were:
1) Complete my Trailer Park Challenge
2) Post chapter 25 of the Penguinos
3) Complete an additional 20 slides on my next OWBC chapter
I actually achieved my first goal and completed my TPC by playing to the end of the challenge and posting all of the pic spam. I did not make any progress on goal #3, my OWBC chapter, but that is because I was focusing on trying to get the next Penguino chapter done. The final stats for goal #2 are as follows:
Completed Slides: 78 (began with 19)
Slides with Pictures and No Text: 6 (began with 0)
Slides with Text and No Pictures: 38 (began with 22)
So I ended by completing 59 slides. I have a total of 122 slides in progress compared to the 41 that I had when I started so I added 81 slides to the chapter. I obviously still have some filming to do and I also still need to write up a few scenes but those are all outlined at this point so maybe I'll be able to get this one out in time for my legaversary on April 4th!
In addition to my work on chapter 25 I also got some bonus work completed on chapter 26. After compiling photos and drabbles that I had already written the stats for the next chapter are:
Completed Slides: 8
Slides with Pictures and No Text: 13
Slides with Text and No Pictues: 27
So that is another 48 slides that I put together this month. Hopefully this means that I'll be able to publish chapter 26 fairly soon as well.
I am very happy with all of this progress! Hopefully next year I will actually win CreMo but for now congrats to everyone who did and to everyone who made forward progress on their goals!
