Finally, after killing so many orchids, I finally got one to bloom. Phalaenopsis. Ironically, another phalaenopsis died at the same time this one was budding up. The one that died was from Home Depot post-bloom sale, December 2007. This one happened to be part of a birthday gift from Michael and Jana in 2008.

Last year, Jana really wanted an African Violet for her room. I was initially worried because I had never been able to keep those alive. Well, her African Violet is about to have it's 2nd bloom since making a home in her room!
