I really finished this a couple of months ago, but it just made it to the hands of the recipient. Yay!
My first pinwheel blanket.
Knitting at the beginning was darn fun, then it got wieldy. It also took awhile to block, but all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results.
Yarn: Micro Spun Yarn, Bahama, 2 skeins and Micro Spun Yarn, partial skein for border.
Pattern: a combination of pinwheel blanket patterns on the 'net with a basic garter stitch for the border.
Needles: ugh, I don't remember. Size 8 or 9 circulars and double points (DPNs to start).
Here's a photo of the recipient. Okay, well, the infant, my grandneice, Kristin being held by her grandma. :)
