So what is a composite?

A composite is a 6"x9" glossy photo card to show off any photogenic characteristics. You typically have them taken by a quality portrait photographer and you submit these for modeling or acting jobs or to agencies.

Even if you don't wind up doing any acting or modeling, you wind up with some pretty darn good photos!

Here's the front side of Jana's composite:

And the back side (for the sake of convenience, I used the Ricoh Aficio at work to do this. However I wanted to block out the "vitals" listed on the comp card and the only image editing tools on my laptop are iPhoto and KidPix...hence the very pixelated strawberry stamps):

We worked with a commercial photographer in Chicago, Papadakis Photography. In terms of working with kids, I highly recommend them...I think they were great with us and with Jana. They really helped engage Jana into the process and in fact, she's still posing. And recently she's been pretending to be a photographer!

We were lucky with the sitting fee, Jana had won that in a local baby contest back in October.
