Brief Updates
Between Christmas and New Year's, Jana had many activities (since Michael worked during that time). I was able to only take a couple of pictures though, but I still plan to post.
This past week and weekend, we've been doing a lot of vegging out at home. Rented, "Best in Show," which Jana didn't care for and stopped half way through, "Talladega Nights" due to increased profanity.
Her current favorite movies: "Curious George," "Madagascar," "Cars," "The Incredibles" and "Snow Dogs." Surprisingly, she watched most of "The Phantom Menace." Sigh, she liked Jar Jar.
Over the past month, Jana's been building "airplanes" out of her quattro blocks. Tonight, she built a "rocket ship" and Mickey Mouse was in it (I'll leave the interpretation up to you!). Then she did about 25 min of pretend cooking with her Weebles treehouse, "dump the milk, dump the eggs, pancakes!" Then built "tunnels" with her blocks. I'm really amazed at how quickly she's been doing her wood puzzles lately.
We did go out for dinner tonight (first time since the holidays actually). When the waitress came to take our drink orders, Jana told her, "Pizza! [Mandarin] oranges! Milk!" Okay, she knows about ordering her food for sure now.
And no surprise here, she still loves drumming/music.
