Jana's Day
I think Jana had a great day today! She really got into play with the new plastic pizza and cake sets. Then she had me sit with her through lunch and afterwards, she said good-bye so she could settle in for her nap.
For dinner, we were able to join Alex and his parents at Dumpling House. And then for dessert, we met with Matt at Baskin Robbins to introduce Jana to a potential babysitter. They got along swimmingly. When we got home, Michael was pulling in and boy, she was happy to see dad. Waiting for her as we got into the house was the mylar balloon I had forgotten that I purchased at lunch time today. We let her have one of her presents, a basket of 25 plastic fruits and veggies.

I'm now less pressured to run somewhere for a portrait sitting for Jana. ;-)
