Jana Keeps Running!
Jana ran a 50 yard dash at the Junior version of the Pittsburgh Great Race today. She ran in the age 2 category and did really well! Today's event was non-competitive, no timing and all fun. I did feel bad that Jana wanted to run the 1 mile, but there's apparently an age restriction. Besides, she did a 1.5 mile only a few weeks ago.
In Jana's age group and heat, she did really well and finished in no time. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like it was enough for her, she wanted to keep running. At least all the kids got pizza, oranges, mandarin oranges, bananas, chips and water. Below are a couple of snapshots I was able to take.
