Lots o' Basil
Jana helped me harvest just over a half pound of basil tonight. There's still more to harvest off the one plant in the bed closer to the steps. We gave a quarter pound of it to neighbors and a couple of cut stems to the new neighbor.
For the quarter pound of basil we brought in the house, I washed them and then several rounds in the salad spinner. Then split into 2 2 cup zip twist containers and straight to the freezer. Hopefully, this will work for future use.
Michael said the house smells like we lit a basil candle. :P
