Bubbles!

I let Jana dig the lawn (it's mostly dirt anyway) while I transplanted a bell pepper. She was getting a bath anyway and she really enjoyed the transition from playing in dirt to playing in water.

Then during her bath, she asked for bubbles. Then she asked to blow bubbles herself. Oddest thing, she took the soaked bubble wand and surprised me by putting it in her mouth. She moved the wand away then tried to speak. Um, bubbles came out of her mouth. Even if I were armed with a camera, I was stunned, possibly too stunned to take a picture. Jana, on the other hand, was thrilled and was able to blow a few more bubbles out of her mouth. I just don't expect things like this to happen outside of television or the movies.

As funny as it was, I wasn't inclined to try that again.

This reminds me, I have a couple of sweet cayenne peppers and a melon to transplant to a bigger indoor pot. I also just placed an order for some neat small indoor self-watering containers. I ordered 2 of each color thinking of 1 set at home and another at the office. For home, I'm hoping it'll be a great way to maintain some herbs indoors. I don't think any of my herbs lasted 1 year indoors. For the office, maybe I'll do lavender and some plants and/or small flowers.
