Plotting the Plot

My registration fee was received today and my keys to the sheds are on their way to me. I have yet to visit this space, but I'm excited nonetheless. My finger seems to be having a slight relapse, which does have me a bit concerned, I just want to remember to call for some follow-up appointments soon.

Anyway, here's a satellite image of the community garden (courtesy of Google Maps):

The blue outline is MINE. :)

My first draft of my plans for the plot...

Green icons represent an herb; yellow, a marigold; and red, a spicy pepper.

Here, I thought I was done buying seeds, and then I come across Territorial Seed Company's Edamame "Beer Friend" Bean. Michael being a beer snob loves the name, and fortunately, between me and Jana, we can eat a ton of edamame beans. And also in my shopping cart are Cow Pots, they're like peat pots, but made of cow manure. Yup, cow manure.

I also wanted the potting apple trees, but passed. I'm rather proud of holding back. :)
