It's still snowing, but...

...we still have green.

Now that my finger seems to have healed (skin is back, for awhile there, my finger was missing that top epidermis layer or something, felt like a continuous chemical burn) I want to play in the dirt again. I'll still keep the finger covered though.

I'll probably start some winter sowing this weekend. In the meantime, here's what's growing at home.

The Aerogarden Holiday Herb Kit, 4 out of 7 pods still going strong. (I need more sage recipes!)

Jana picked out this medley of tomatoes at a recent grocery run, I saved seeds from the striped one in the back, I'm guessing it's a Black Zebra and of course, hoping it's not a hybrid.

Jana's African Violet Update.

Jana's Christmas Cactus in a terra cotta pot she painted. On 2/18, she had a day off from school so we hit both Trax and Soergel's, I think we covered 65 miles that day. I let her choose any indoor blooming plant and she picks one on clearance (aka dying). Sigh.

The Christmas Cactus in my office blooming for the first time.

A ton of flowers on my dwarf lime plant (also in my office, the construction in the background is part of the new Gates Center being built).
