there isnt a single recorded case of a copper head ever killing anyone. they rarely bite, only invenomate under 60% of the time, and even then their venom isnt very potent. theyre among the most passive of poisonous snakes.

also, theyre very cute

Additionally, it could have bitten a cat.

(Also, there have been deaths from copperhead bites, but very few; only one in North Carolina)

it would stay in a terrarium so the kitties couldnt get to it/vice versa.

and i wouldnt have kept it for very long...

i like snakes
