This is a song that Betsy used to do a lot in karaoke. I only knew one part of it. I googled the line that I remembered and then translated the song. It took me like...literally three hours to do. I tried really hard to keep the spirit of the Japanese still there, while keeping the English so that it actually sounded okay. The work of a translator is really hard.
The title is litterally 'We on the path of falling like petals' ...but Japanese has a special verb that just means 'a petal or leave drops' so it was hard to translate. But yeah, the basic plot of the song is about two people who are slowly falling out of love with each other. They're falling just like petals fall from flowers. It's tragic and sad, and very Japanese, but also very pretty. <3 And the tune is nice. And I always think about Betsy when I hum the tune. <333
