Preface: I don't really talk politics in my journal, but I thought this was really funny and adorable. Addie LOVES the presidents. He's memorized all of them, what state they were born in, and all this other random information. You tell him a state, and he can list all the presidents that were born in said state. It's kind of amazing. Now, he personally wants Obama to become president for the sole reason of him being the first African American president. XD Which I think is cute...five-year olds are so simple. ^^

Addie: Mom, I heard someone at school say that Sarah Palin is a nice lady.
Mom: Well...I don't really know her personally, but I don't think I like her that much.
Addie: Why?
Mom: Well, ......*thinks* Let me put it this way, she doesn't want Obama to become president.
Addie: *horrified gasp* OH NO! I don't like her EITHER! *later* Will you vote for Obama?
Mom: Yes.
Addie: Oh good, I hope everyone in the WORLD votes for him!

I just got out of work at McNamara. Ugh. At least that shift it over with, I suppose. I don't have any more work scheduled for this week, but I offered to take someone's shift on Thursday because I needs the monies. At least I have all this weekend off because:::
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY!!! Yay. I will be turning 22 on that day. *streamers* So...you're thinking about a present for me, right? Hahaha. Well, any of my online friends, I would love to get some kind of drawing or writing. Anything is fine. If you want to expend the effort on me, I'd be glad to get it. Whatever it may be. Made by you for me, of course. XD
And as for my irl friends. Uh...I have no idea what I want for real presents. I already suggested some things to other people, and I can't really think of anything else. So...uh, long dangly earrings or gift certificates? XD Sorry I can't make huge long lists of things that I really want. As of right now, there are only a few things that I want, but they are far too expensive to ask of anyone for my birthday. XD So I'll just be saving up for them. (If you're curious what they are, it'd be a new Nintendo DS, an expensive denji jisho and a new mP3 player of some variety, since mine officially kickied the bucket about two weeks ago. The struggle was valient, rest easy, my friend. Well, I guess while I'm at listing electronics that I want, I'll add a new (wicked nice) digital camera. XD I need to save. Seriously.)
So yeah. Presents aren't really that important, I guess. I'm easy to please. XD
So I'm leaving on Friday afternoon to go home to VT to spend most of the weekend with my family. Monday we have off for Columbus Day (ugh) and I am working at night time. So, I'll probably post again before I leave, but I'm pretty busy, so I won't count on it. I'll leave and be back by Monday, though. ^^
On Saturday, I went apple picking with Lindsey and Jason. It was really fun, and we picked more apples then we could fit in our bag....so I liberated some apples in my bag. XD And pockets. I was telling Liz about this:
Me: And so we...liberated some apples. I put some in my bag, and Lindsey put some in hers.
Liz: So...you stole them?
Me: What? No....LIBERATED. Mostly the ones that were perfectly fine from the ground. You know...to save them from....going to waste.
Liz: *stare"
Me: OKAY, FINE, STOLE THEM. WHATEVER. *mutters* The dude who gave us the bag was a jerk anyway. >__>
*lol* I made home made apple sauce which turned out really good. And I ate it on some toast. I need some english muffins. *nod* XD
Alright, I need to go and check out the 'surprise' homework that Sono-sensei put up. And maybe do it. Maybe bed. Who knows?
