Exodus Part II

So, randomly finishing the story that I already started,

On Wednesday, I had to go back and finish getting my stuff. Luckily this time Betsy came with me so I didn't have to go alone. I went into the host house, I had emailed my host mother and asked her if coming at 5:30 was okay, but I couldn't, and she replied that she wanted me to come at 6:30. Ugh. Whatever. We hung around my dorm, and then we took the bus, but we didn't get there until about 7pm. (This reminds me, while waiting for the bus another time, this scary old lady started talking to me in English, asking me if I was a tourist. I told her no, and she started telling me this story about her Italian teacher and how she died. And then she asked me to come and live at her house with her. Haha. >.> I don't think that she was being serious, but it was still pretty creepy. Why can't people leave me alone?)
Anyway, Rei came inot my room, and so did Kensuke. Rei was very concerned, and told me that Mama told me that I was leaving. I told her that I was and that I was going to a dorm. ;-; It was sad. And then they proceeded to unnecessarily jump and stomp around while I was trying to finish packing. Betsy, who is not fond of children, especially annoying ones, was not amused by this at all. Haha.
Anyway, I finally got done and then asked her what to do with the boxes that I didn't use. She made me break them down and then go bring them outside. Whatever. I had old shoes that I asked her to throw away for me. No, she told me to take them with me because yeah, "Garbage day was today." Sure it was. >.> Anyway, I had to get my bicycle, but it was supposed to rain the next day (Thursday) and so I actually asked to come on Saturday so that I could say goodbye to my host father.
No. Apparently my host dad, (who I really, really liked) called the school, concerned, because my host mother had mentioned nothing to him about my moving out. He was confused and didn't know why I was leaving. So since the lady at school told me that, I told my host mother that I wanted to say goodbye to him. She started telling me that she didn't know his schedule, that he wouldn't be home, and that I shouldn't bother him with that, and that I shouldn't meet him.
Ooo...kay? I was really insulted. She told me that I had to come as soon as I could to pick up my bike. And then she started asking me about umbrellas. Where was the one that I used? (I had one? I just always took a random one.) It had been missing since January...(Why didn't she tell me in January?) where was it? I told her that I didn't know, and that I guessed I had lost it, and that I would buy her a new one? She then got all huffy and was like, "I don't even know how much it cost anymore." Geeze. Okay.
Anyway, I FINALLY left the stupid house and trucked all my stuff back to my dorm, and poor Betsy didn't get home until 10ish. ;-; I was so greatful to her for helping me, though.
That night I got an e-mail from my host mother to 'not forget the two umbrellas and keychain.' What? What keychain? Didn't I already tell her that I forgot/left the umbrellas somewhere? Ugh. I showed the e-mail to the CJS lady, and she told me to buy her a new umbrella as a parting gift. Which I did. And the keychain? I totally forgot about it. It was this tiny ring with two little bells on it. I gave back all of this other, more expensive stuff, and she's asking for these stupid cheap things back? Ugh.
Anyway, I went to her house, and the CJS lady came with me. We talked, and waited. My host mother was supposed to come home at 6:30, so we ended up waiting for her for a half an hour. No doubt a passive aggressive thing to screw with me a little more. I said goodbye, got my bike, and then parked it and left.
My dealings with my host family are done with. I'm so glad.
In other news, I love my dorm. The food is great. I LOVE going home at night. I'm getting all my work done, I'm doing other things, and I just so much happier. My only complaint is that I don't have internet, and I don't feel the need to buy internet for the short time that I am here. Well, I say short time, and I mean two months. Ugh. Everyone else is all excited about going home, and I still have to wait for two whole months. Bah.
Oh well. I was going to update about other things, but I'm tired from talking about this.
This weekend I'm going to karaoke with Nathalie, and doing fun adventures. :D
We had to watch this movie in Pop Culture class, it was kind of cool, but kind of lame in other ways. Anyway, something interesting that one of the characters said was "There are only two kinds of people in this world. Cheaters, and those who are cheated." Hmm. It seemed to be an interesting story idea.
Cough. Yeah. Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled Friend's Page.
