What a busy week it's been. Back on early shifts all of last week and for the next 2 as well. I love having my afternoons free again but it's a killer trying to get up in the mornings and I always end up totally drained. I guess updating LJ at 1.40am doesn't help with that. Still, my Graze box arrives tomorrow and I've been good and resisted the urge to go check what they're sending me. Last week's was 'Bear Neccessities', hazelenuts, roasted pistachios and wasabi peanut crackers. The wasabi nuts, the pistachios and the dried strawberries and macadamias in the mix were lovely. The dried apricots and the hazelnuts though, not so much.
Went out for Chloe and Debs joint birthday night yesterday. I thought things might get a bit awkward due to some ridiculous and pointless facebook drama from the night before but luckily things went fairly smoothly. Hopefully everyone had a good night. I know I certainly did but there are photographs of me doing things I don't even remember so I must have been partying a bit harder than I thought as proven by the hangover today. I don't understand why my body insists on making me feel nausious for hours after I wake up only to throw up a little stomach bile and then dry heave for about 10 minutes.
Thanks to the hangover I ended up getting up at about 12.30ish, spent a while in the bathroom then went back to bed to sleep it off before being woken by Dave coming home at about 6ish. We then tried to tackle another round of Moxxies and ended up wasting over 4 hours only for us both to be killed. I'm a sniper with a health regeneration mod and Dave is a soldier with ammo regeneration. It really should be an unbeatable combination but he has the survival skills of a drunk, retarded lemming and everytime he's about to bleed out and I heal him he runs off into a wave of bullets before he's fully regerenated and ends up getting took down again.
Anyway, sleep time now. Apart from completely blanking out Commercial Sappiness Day I have the GA meet to look forward to next week.
