New fic community!
Some lovely people over on Dreamwidth have started a 
sherlock_flashfic community! Shorter works are, obviously, encouraged, which is great, as without reasonable limits I end up churning out 75,000 words of casefic. That's fun but not practical on a regular basis, whereas I can write and polish 1,000 words in an evening if I'm in the right mood. Which is kind of the point.
I've also noticed the fills so far have had a much higher gen-to-romance ratio than any other collection I've seen in this fandom, and it's difficult, let me tell you, to find good Sherlock gen.
Pop over and check it out! If you don't have a DW code, they're on offer over there (and I've a couple to give out, too, if anyone's interested). They'll also take comment fic if you don't want to bother with another site.
