i just anchored my first show on the Daily Update, and it went sooooooo well! i can't believe i actually got a chance to do it today. Thank goodness I dressed rather nice and professional before I went to the news at 5 this morning. I was only suppose to run camera today, then i was asked to teach 3 girls how to do still store graphics, then i was told i was going to anchor.

-hard words=hard core phonetics
-sound=checked
-hands=shakey
-IFBs=broken
-mics=complicated
-weather man Gabe=supportive
-studio people and floor director=helpful and supportive
-control room after show=full of compliments and props for me :)
of course i stumbled over some words, and i was sooo nervous especially when i had to ad lib the weather to Gabe, but it was so fun. i had such a good time. if you get the SMU chanel, look for the Daily Update and see me! haha. good times today! i hope everyone has a good day too!
