ciao from venice!

This Globus tour is pretty damn impressive. Also extremely exhausting - mostly because of the number of different hotels and the pace of moving from city to city and country to country. france, switzerland, italy. And tomorrow weùre going to Munich from Venice, via Austria. Crazy pace, but the tour guide is amazing. He can speak 6 languages and really does a lot to make sure we are all happy and on time to all the places. Heàs also got a great sense of humour, but has to keep it in check for fear of offending the diverse range of people on the bus.

I have made friends with a young american chick called Ashley, who is also the only one on the bus with her mum. Most others are couples ranging in age from 30-70. So we are the youngest and at the crazy 3-course Italiano dinners we go on, we are targetted by the male waitstaff for kisses on the cheek when they are keeping the big group entertained. Rather funny.

I have seen and done so many things in the last week that itùs hard to keep track of. Today, gondola ride in Venice, gelato in St Markàs square. In Rome we visited the collosseum, the vatican and inside St Peterùs and the museum. Got photos of where the Pope pokes his head out and fun stuff like that.

I canàt figure out the apostrophe key on this keyboard.  My apologies.

Today I went on a gondola ride through the canals of venice!!!  Amazing!!

Got so many stories to tell, but now  someone is waiting for me to finish using this terminal. Argh.

Photos still to come. I am looking forward to meeting Sasha in London (also meeting Andrew and Ola which is very exciting!). Itàs going to be good to slow the pace down a little bit. There are still a stupid amount of cities to pass through and explore before I arrive in London. Wow!   :)

Having a great time, but also need to relax a bit. Weàre all joking on this tour that weàll need a holiday afterwards.

Missing you all in Sydney and internet-land. Lots of love, Pen.  xxxooo
