Woah! Very squee-worthy news.
I have a couple of stories in a set of Yard Dog Press anthologies entitled Bubbas of the Apocolypse.
The theme of the stories are very simple: Think 28 days later, except that the only survivers who weren't turned into zombies were rednecks. (and that the anthologies pre-date the movie 28 days later).
The first of the two short stories that I have appearing in the series: Attack of the Godless Undead Zombies, is being picked up for an anthology with Benbella Books entitled The Best of the Bubbas.
This is majorly cool. I have done work with Benbella in the past. My essay Geek Chic was in their Alias themed anthology Alias Assumed: Sex, Lies and SD-6. It would have done quite well, except that the anthology was released about the same time that the last season thoroughly sucked.
So: New/Old original fiction coming out. Which is very exciting. Just had to share.
