that's quite a change. For once it's Dean the one trusting and Sam the one that needs proves. Great job!! Thanks for sharing.

I've alwasy thought that Sam was the more suspicious minded of the two of them. Back in S1, when the boys encountered Meg, it was Dean who was pushing Sam to hook up with her, and Sam who thought that something was off.

And when they met Gordon, Dean felt like he found a new buddy. Sam was the first one to pick up that things weren't on the level.

Of course, where Chloe is concerned, Dean thinks with his downstairs brain more than he should, anyway. Some of that was coming into play here as well.

“Barbecue now, Sam. Talk later.”

Precisely. (Sorry, waiting on hubby to get home so we can have dinner.)

I like this, no hysterics, no drama, just stubborn people who don't trust easily making the compromises they have to to work together.

Although, I do think they should take another look at that theater, it's never nothing...

There are a couple more chapters. And you know the guys leave nothing to chance.

You totally pegged our bunch. Stubborn people learning to work togeather. :)

I was going for an older, more mature Jo here. Her character had a lot of potential on the show, and I thought that Alona was great (and the way Dean reacted to her was comedy gold).

But I felt like she came across as too young and too wide-eyed for SPN. Too much 'golly gee when I grow up I want to be a real hunter.'

In her diaries on the website, she wrote about how she wanted to be like her mom: helping hunters and 'keeping the family togeather.'

That's more how I envision her now.

And I'm really very flattered that you like my book. Thank you so much!

Loved this! And I agree--Sam is the more suspicious of the two. I've always thought that too. I love that Dean was holding Chloe's hand, and that he insisted Sam do a full-on excorcism on both of them to make sure they weren't evil. And "Barbecue now, Sam. Talk later." That's Dean. If he's not thinking with his downstairs brain, he's thinking with his stomach. *giggles* Great job!

Once he heard her story, Dean made a decision in the last chapter to be there for Chloe. In his own mind, this is where it starts.

Chloe is letting him in. Bit by agonizing bit. It's a process. With many, many missteps along the way. But Dean's a hard guy to resist for very long.

Hunting must be a very physical activity. Because with the way the guy eats, I'm surprised that he dosen't weigh like the Buddah. ;)
