My latest article is up on firefox news. It's about the crescent hotel.
The crescent has a really really scary past. At one point a guy who claimed to be a doctor took it over as a place for people to come to him for a cancer treatment. The gusts would come to stay, and he would have them pre-write letters home asking family members to send money for the treatment. then they would take his treatments (mineral water and watermellon seeds), not get better, pass away, and he would continue to send out those letters.
It kind of reminds me of the ghost hospital episode of Supernatural.
