I realize that I have not updated this in a long time. But, I don’t think any of us update as often as we used to. However, I am updating now to appease Christine, who just came in my room. Apparently, she needs something to help her procrastinate. So, as today’s public service, I am extending this little procrastination tool.
Over the weekend, I finished editing my video about the willow hut. It was a little annoying because I kept getting the date of the event wrong, so now I have 3 different copies. For those of you who don’t know, the videos had to be between 30 and 60 seconds. This was incredibly frustrating. It is really hard to create any sort of narrative in such a short period of time. I feel like it moves really fast, but there was really no other way to do it. I do wonder who on earth could make their video on 30 seconds. Mine ended up being 59 seconds.
This week is just really busy because it is our last week of classes. Friday is Slope Day, and Ben Folds is going to headline. I know a lot of people here are unhappy with this choice because his music is a little mellow. I tend to think that people who go to school in the Ivory Tower of Snotty Liberalness need to accept that for the most part, they are white. As much as they would like to believe they understand Snoop Dogg’s plights as a drug dealer or how hard it is out there for a pimp, they really never will. So, in conclusion, I am much happier with the choice of Ben Folds. Also, by the time he comes on, most people will be completely smashed; I really don’t see why they care.
So, I would make this longer, but I don’t feel like it. That is a pretty good reason I think. Anyway, I will probably try to update a few more times before the end of the year. Mostly, I just really want it to be summer, so I can go to Italy!
