Tomorrow I'm shoving off...on a 5 month journey away from home...
the day has finally come. tomorrow morning I will be leaving Medfield for Sangamon and St. Lawrence. unfortunately, i won't be back in between to see friends or to enjoy my hometown one more time. so at this moment i am packed for camp and pretty much set for college. my walls are noticeably less interesting as i took down a bunch of my posters to take to SLU: my RHCP, Ronaldo, Man U, Lance, and Keane posters along with a few pics of family and friends... hopefully all my decorations won't encroach on my roommate's space/ his own posters... that could be a problem.
i'm gonna have to do a ton of college planning at sangamon cuz i slacked off too much since school let out... i also have to take an online french placement test for SLU while i'm there... that should be interesting. I'm looking forward to finally being staff though.
I haven't even left yet and i already miss everyone. especially sandra, i never would have thought i'd miss her so much if i'd thought about it at the beginning of the year, but i guess that as the year went along and we got closer, i could see it coming. i knew it right after france too, i hadn't exactly said it to her, but i think she understands now how much i care about her. but anyways...
yikes!!!!! there is an ENORMOUS bug crawling around my room! and i'm not usually freaked out by bugs, but this one is scary...
and...victory! i have defeated the insect! it had so many legs and it eluded my stomping assassination attempts for a good five minutes...
and now that i leave you with that great image in your heads...i've gotta get some sleep
life is just beginning...
