Fast Track

I am writing this after returning from grocery shopping in the next town closer to Nagoya because that is literally the most convenient grocery store (as the one located under the train station here charges an arm and a leg)
Tonight I will make sloppy Joes for the first time ever, and Tomo will probably have them for the first time ever.

My arms hurt from carrying groceries so far.

This week, I taught one woman in one class the word Transgendered.
I taught the following class the difference between setting comething on fire, catching something on fire, and lighting something (on fire), which was by far one of my most interesting "native" mini-lessons. Oh, the things I didn"t expect to teach.

I skype too much, but its necessary. I talked to Nerieda for the first time since December. I still can"t get a hold of Jeff. We"ll see what happens tomorrow.

On my way to Ichinomiya last night, I was on the train from Nagoya next to a guy with very pretty, stylishly permed hair. He was wearing a pink polo shirt with a patch on the chest that said in English "Sexy all night dance machine"...
I didn't laugh and I tried not to stare, but those are of course the tings I love about Japan.

I do also hate things, but that's natural.

I was really strong today. I put back $30 worth of cool thrift clothes. Its true I didn't need them and would probably never wear them, but they looked cool!
I'm still trying to make my own stuff. I'm so afraid of screwing up one thing I'm afraid to mess with it, but we'll see how things go.

Anywho. Adios. As always--showertime.
