THANK YOU to those who prayed for the women's retreat, and specifically for my request for prayer for my lesson. Despite my fears about it, God was able to move that night, and I think he set some people free (or at least began the process) from some pretty heavy burdens.
God did a lot of healing throughout the entire weekend, and I definitely agree with Malinda that Mal, Andi and I (and Christy's lesson too!) came at the topic of grace from a variety of angles - I appreciate even more each of their unique gifts and all of our differences. The women who attended came from an even GREATER variety of backgrounds and experiences, and their participation brought so much more to it as well! Thank you to those who shared your personal experiences!
I am so grateful for everyone that came (even if it was just one night or the other). I feel a much deeper connection with everyone that was there, and I look forward to getting to know all of you (and the women who couldn't make it this weekend) better through the monday night group. I think we are starting a week from today?!
