since i got archie, his mouth has always been sensitive, but he never had a problem eating his food or anything. i just figured he didnt want people touching his mouth. the past week or so its seemed to be really bothering him, so i called the vet (she makes house calls/is a family friend). she came and saw him yesterday annnnnnd archie has to have all of his teeth removed. i'm going to start getting the money together for this expensive surgery, but in the mean time i'm giving him antibiotics (pill form) crushed up into meat flavored baby food for him and eliminating dry food from his diet altogether. i feel so bad. i'm really worried about him getting surgery, he seems so delicate and small. i hope everything turns out ok. the vet said he'd be much happier if they were just all taken out because he's in pain. she also said she thinks his eye issues will clear up and he will gain weight and everything.
