Ah, it's been ages so I figured I should update. Also, it's either this or writing down notes for developmental biology and I just can't be bothered right now. [x
So yeah, reason I've not been updating is because uni started off about 3½ weeks ago and I'm busy all the time. It's ridiculous. -.-'' Every day I'm either at the library for ages or at home, writing down lecture notes. The only breaks I have is when I eat, shower or when I go for a coffee between lectures. That's about it. I'm not really complaining because I love the modules I'm doing this semester (Genome Science and Developmental Biology) but I'm just used to having more free time. Apparently third year of uni really is different! I didn't believe it when people told me that.
So yeah, anyways. I have four lectures for each module every week, which is one lecture less in total from what I had weekly last year. But the labs are 3-5 afternoons long, and actually challenging. They're fun though as well, last week I dissected a fruit fly and harvested its organs! Well, just ovaries but still. xD They're surprisingly big for such a small insect. I find it fascinating(I think I'm the only one though), which is good since I am spending the rest of my life in a lab with them. : D So yeah, I'm really loving university right now. Though for some reason I've been missing Finland, which usually never happens. But I might get over it now that the weather is getting colder in jolly old Scotland. x3
Oh Sarah, now that I've been using the Benefit Eyecon I can stay that it kinda works, but I wouldn't pay that much for it. If they sell it over there, I would recommend the Vitamin C+ Invigorating Eye Serum from Lumene. I've used it before and it works amazingly well(but of course, I forgot to take my stick with me from Finland and they don't sell it in Scotland...go figure) . The only minor problem is that it tends to dry the skin so I always use it with just some basic eye cream.
Also, found a store in Scotland that sells selected Yes to Carrots products. I bought the Exfoliating and Soothing Mud mask and I love it. The only problem is that the nearest place I can get it from is Glasgow, so on average, one pot of it costs me around 35 pounds. : D I'll have to see if they're willing to order it to Dundee Debenhams from the Glasgow one for me. But yeah. That's about it.
Nothing else to report, I think. Humm. I guess I should finish my lecture notes and then go to bed. My rhythm is all out of whack because Lee's been keeping me up. :c Not that I'm really complaining, but yeah...I love my sleep. xD
