i stepped on an ant today or me, disemployed.

yeah so i was depressed for  a minute and i still am but ive settled into it and i am using the apathy i feel to my adavantage...i think. in any case a job is again required and since i dont care about much of anything looking for a job should be fairly painless. if i don't get a job, i guess by somewhere near the beginning of august ill just go to Maryland and hang out with my mom, maybe volunteer or something for the last month of everything and by everything i mean summer.

oh the reason why i'm actually looking for a job instead of working is that the place that said i was hired and was waiting for a call from has yet to actually call me back despite the fact that i' ve called them at least 5 times in the past week. it makes me crazy, i'm actually going to keep calling mostly because i'm pissed, until someone actually talks to me and says oh, yeah opps you totally work here come in tomorrow or oh hey sorry we actually forgot about you and hired somebody else either one is better than just fucking nothing. oh the frustration!

in any case, im not going to really worry about it; if it works, it works, if not, who cares; life will go on...probably...maybe.

why is "okay" for us to kill ,say, an ant, but not another human?

ok so lets just say for the sake of simplicity that the whole animals dont have souls crap isnt true...mostly because it isnt and partially because i dont want at all to hear that argument from anyone. so you, you step on an ant it dies it's energy or life force or what have you is recycled and it doesnt matter right? but kill a man and it's a whole different story people get angry, theyre distraught, youre judged etc. if we were to remove the moralistic crap, which in the end, again doesnt matter as all that stuff if relative and changeable, we get dead thing recycled energy doesnt matter. ok so morals out of the window we still have to deal with the fact that emotionally we feel attached to other people. the more we feel we know and like them, the closer we feel and the more we care. when that person is removed from us in such a permanent way as death, we feel bad. i dont actually have a point so if you were you should stop looking now. so we make a rule that its not ok to kill other humans to ensure that we are not prematurely/ unfairly removed from our "loved ones". unfairly removed...but if it is in some way fair...but is fairness something moral? yes of course it is. so there is no fair. in any case among all other species of animal that i know this is very different they  kill each other if they have to. maybe thats what it is.....we kill each other for other reasons like....well no not really i imagine that jealously and love and power are things that other species kill each other over...so...i guess the point is that it's okay for us to kill other things becasue we arent as in tough with them as we are with each other...its a bigger deal within our realm of understaning because we're humans and we live out ours days being and acting and interacting as humans, not ants which we will never really understand and so it's nothing to kill them....thats sad and im not really sure why...well that concludes my answer, what do you think? i'd love to know what you think. tell me or i'll kill you.
