My loyal hound Ruby
Eleven days ago, my Ruby was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It is a type of cancer of the white blood cells. She is slowly wasting away. Many days she won't eat. I haven't wanted to talk about it, but when Bb called me to tell me that he had managed to get her to eat kibble when he melted butter all over it... She turned 10 in December and was very healthy then.
Ruby has been afraid to go up the stairs, her back legs are very week. But, she has lost enough weight that it is safe and non-painful for Bb to carry her back down the stairs. now she keeps coming up and just waits for him to carry her back down.
