Locked out
*Sigh* I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things this afternoon and I noticed as I was pulling out that my "Door ajar" light was on. Knowing all the door were shut I knew it had to be for my trunk. I knew I had closed the trunk so I headed on home. Well when I got home I couldn't open the trunk. I tried the release lever in the car, the button on my key fob and actually using the key in the lock. All to no avail. I got back in the car and headed straight to the Ford dealer. Unfortunately since it was 45 minutes to closing they couldn't do anything today. I'm going to see if I can get a friend to meet me there and give Gavin and I a ride home tonight so it will be there first thing in the morning when the techs arrive. If she can't it looks like I'll be making an early morning trip to the Ford dealer.
Oh and I got the copy of the police report from my accident and it's the person in the middle car who has the injury claim. Have to love this line on the police report though: Injuries taken to: NONE REPORTED. I am reading further in the narrative there is a mention of: One complaint, of head and neck pain. Makes me wonder why they didn't want to be immediately checked out by EMS if they were willing to complain about the pain to the officer. Oh well. I'll file the police report with the other paperwork so it's handy in case anything does come of it at a later date.
