1 short of 420. That's the accumulated score that I am gonna fetch in the sudoku thingy. As usual, went for the biggie one first. I never do a back-track sort of thing while solving sudoku. Some 5 hours later the time this entry was made, following mail was received -

Short story: Was placed 31st in the crowd of 1200. I enjoyed the whole day and am more than satisfied solving so many varieties of puzzles. Missed out on National appearance by a minimum of 50 points. Got some goodies (certificate and shade) as acknowledgment to my appearance in regional round.

Very promptly they informed me the very next day that I have been selected for Regional Qualifier for I have scored 100%. I have been instructed to carry copy of mail that they will send. I haven't received it yet :((

Yesterday Sawani (AKA manogat) got me this National Sudoku Championship thingy. Solved all 4 sudokus in approximately 4 hours.
