TV Tuner / Combo TV box

Initial idea was to connect my 17" flat screen CRT monitor and replace the 14" TV (in hall room) with it. Move that 14" TV to my room. What a nice way of disconnecting lives! :p
But it didn't work out as planned. As in, that tv tuner box won't identify more than 37 channel. Worse, it would not identify channels from hyper-band stuff. That unfortunately would mean no HBO and no Star movies. Logically, hall room should have the most prominent TV in terms of channels. Which means that no swapping of TV with Monitor. Which also means that I won't be getting that HBO/Star movies etc. Which also could mean that the plan of disconnecting lives will not work out. Which also means that me gotta survive the 'K'ruel serials and they gotta survive cartoons/firangi movies.
