an amalgamation of random stuff
'amalgamation' is my new favourite word. hurrhurr.
my mom is quite peeved about the fact that the f1 race has snatched the attention of all her family members away from her. it might also be cos she does not get to watch her tv shows. so today, while we were all glued to the television bemoaning (for some) or rejoicing (for others, incl me) massa's terrible screw up which ruined the race for him (and subsequently, when raikkonen crashed out, for ferrari), she burst out (somewhat bitterly) "if you want to save the earth you will not support this kind of race!" HAHAHA. i laughed till i cried.
thank God i have finally completed my prop mid-term assignment. took, no ruined, my entire holiday that did. and i'm still feeling rather cui about it. but at least it's done, and i have much to be thankful for: encouraging selfless friends, loving family, wisdom, peace, comfort (:
on thurs i ran to KAP from school with ernie and aiwern (: the run was rather enjoyable, and it was surprisingly short. haha. thereafter, we pigged out on macs (ugh.) but it was a fun night and a much-needed and much-welcome break from prop. stayed over at aiwern's that night too (a million thanks to my beloved sister QQ [HAHA] for bringing my sleepover stuff to KAP for me :D). that was fun too, because although we were supposed to do our prop, we watched a bit of tv (ugly betty, project runway, ANTM). and we made exciting plans for the hols - "got legs can go anywhere".
AMAZING RACE SEASON 13 STARTS TMR! EXCITE. i shall be a filial daughter and let my mom have the tv tmr night, so i will wake up at 8am to catch the direct telecast. jaey, i hope you get amazing race down under too! (:
suddenly, i realise how fast time is flying by, how we will soon graduate from university. i don't want to leave law school. i don't want to practice. need. to. treasure. the. times. hold. on. to. the. memories.
