I can has hat!
Project #3 is finished! I now have a blue hat.
The back seam isn't as nice as it ought to be, but that's more difficult to do than it sounds. I can see why people prefer to knit in the round. I think I can figure out how to do that with this, er, recipe?, instruction?, whatever it's called, but I'd need some stitch markers so I'd know when I'm at a new row.
And of course what entry would be complete without the MySpace shots of me wearing the completed item.
The instructions for this project suggest adding buttons around it, and I can see why. It's a little on the boring side as it is. I might do that later. For now I'm going to start a second one in the smallest size instead of the largest so that Kaitlin can have a matching hat.
Shut up, it will be totally cute to have matching hats. :p
